1. Picnic at Barnsdall Art Park
Barnsdall Art Park is a completely underrated spot in Los Angeles where you can get gorgeous views of the city. Architecture buffs will appreciate that it’s the location of Frank Lloyd Wright’s first ever LA project, The Hollyhock House, which is open for viewings Thursday to Sundays. Pack a picnic and a blanket and check the calendar because Barnsdall hosts many wine-tasting parties, outdoor movie events and gallery openings. Your date will be impressed with how cultured you are whilst enjoying the views and your company!

2. Explore the Museum of Jurassic Technology
While some people like traditional romance, others prefer a date spent exploring weird and creepy stuff. If you fall into the latter category, the Museum of Jurassic Technology may be the perfect place to take your love! The museum’s collection includes a mixture of artistic, scientific, ethnographic, and historic, as well as some unclassifiable exhibits, and the diversity of its offerings evokes the cabinets of curiosities that were the 16th-century predecessors of modern natural history museums. Come open-minded and get ready for some fun. And end the date on the rooftop garden with complementary tea and cookies!

3. Horseback ride into the sunset through Griffith Park
Put on your cowboy boots and hop on a cute pony for a guided tour through the hills of Griffith Park. You and your date will enjoy panoramic views of the city and you can even take a sunset tour! It’s a truly unique experience which will have you and your love reminiscing about all you saw for a long time after the ride is done. And on Saturdays, the ride ends with a massive barbeque and live music back at the ranch!
