Brimming with new development and full of life, Downtown Los Angeles is becoming one of hottest destinations to live, work, and play in all of Los Angeles. Centrally located with Echo Park to the North, Boyle Heights to the East and USC to the South, Downtown is the city’s largest central business district providing half a million jobs to the LA area.
The revitalization of downtown can be attributed to the passage of the Adaptive Reuse Ordinance of 1999, which allowed old building to be transformed into new housing. The old warehouses and factories that once colonized the area have given rise to a new wave of loft style apartments that have some of the most impressive views of the Los Angeles skyline.
