As of now, most of us are aware of the selfie- friendly experiences that are sweeping the nation and our Instagram feeds. This season our favorite pop up is Fa La Land – a Christmas themed museum in the Downtown Los Angeles.
Here’s a little preview of all the fun to be had:
Take an Elf on the Shelf selfie – or “Elfie.”
Explore the very “LA” Fa la Fest room. There are flower crowns, hula hoops, an infinity dance floor, VIP reindeer, velvet ropes and a special shadow box photo booth where you can kiss or pose under the mistletoe.
Explore Fa La Forest, an amazing fluorescent display with trees in a mirrored infinity room.

The experience is wrapped up with a visit with Santa, who sits upon his mighty, highly decorated holiday throne. You can also ride in his sleigh and cash in your Fa La Land golden toy ticket to choose a present from one of three boxes. There’s also a gift shop at the end filled with lots of little unique stocking stuffer gifts, with most items costing $25 or less.
