The Figueroa Centre Building
Set to break ground in early 2020 and be completed in 2023, the new Figueroa Centre Building, located in DTLA’s South Park neighborhood, is sure to turn heads!
Designed by architecture firm CallisonRTKL, Figueroa Centre will rise to an astounding 66-stories, 975 feet, and become the third tallest building in Los Angeles, following the Wilshire Grand and U.S. Bank Towers.
Figueroa Centre is located in South Park, a commercial district in Downtown Los Angeles. Home to the Los Angeles Convention Center, the Staples Center, the “L.A. Live” entertainment complex and the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.
The building will be mixed use and will include 10 street-level restaurants, 94,000 square feet of commercial space, 200 condominiums, a 220-room hotel and a 617-car garage.
The 10th level will have a podium-top deck that will offer shared amenities for residents and hotel guests, including a pool, lounge areas and gardens. Additional amenities are planned on the 11th level, including a spa, a fitness center and a garden. Hotel rooms would be dispersed from the 13th through 28th floors, while residential uses and private amenities would be located on the 29th level and above.
