Holiday Decorating Tips
It’s the most magical time of the year, and now that it’s after Thanksgiving it’s time to make your home look as such. Here’s a few of our tips on decorating that will help give your home that extra “wow” factor!
Tip 1:
Take out all of the decorative holiday items you already own and have collected over the years. Even if you have used items previously, there is always a way to reuse them in a new way and pair them with items you may not have before!
Tip 2:
Pick your theme. Having a concept and overlying theme will help tie all of the decorations together and make a statement with impact.
For those looking for a modern twist some of our favorite themes are: Monochromatic Modern, Hollywood Glam, Rustic, and Winter Wonderland.
Tip 3:
Select a color palette. Utilizing a color wheel can help make sure that the colors complement each other and accentuate your theme. We’ve listed some of our color ideas, for inspiration.
Monochromatic Modern: All white, or another, less traditional color, with a sprinkling of silver and gold.
Rustic/Traditional: Red, green and gold. Have fun with mixing in patterns, such as plaid and tartan for a little extra pop.
Hollywood Glam: Red, black and white for a dramatic turn. Accentuate the drama and romance with lots of candles.
Winter Wonderland: Mixing bluish grays, teal and icy silver hues.
