Miracle Mile | Tour

If you are visiting LA, one of the most iconic picture taking spots is Urban Light at the LACMA. Located on Museum Row, LACMA is just one of the many destinations that define the culturally rich Miracle Mile district.  Bordered by Fairfax on the North, Hancock Park on the East and West LA on the South, Miracle Mile is defined by the major thoroughfares including Wilshire and Olympic Boulevard, La Brea and Fairfax Avenue and West Third St.

Economically diverse and centrally located, this stretch of the Wilshire Corridor known as “Miracle Mile” is home to the La Brea Tar pits – which is a national landmark – LACMA -which is the largest art museum in the Western United States – and Petersen Automotive – which boasts some of the rarest cars in the entire world. You will also find LA’s bustling food truck scene servicing the high rise commercial buildings that line the area. A stone’s throw away from Museum Row are two of the largest shopping destinations in Los Angeles – The Beverly Center and the Grove. The Grove is an outdoor retail and entertainment complex with cobblestone streets, a centtal park and animated fountain inspired by the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

The adjoining Farmer’s Market is a popular landmark and tourist attraction which features outdoor food stalls and market produce. A nexus for foodies and shopoholics, the Grove attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The world famous Miracle Mile is perhaps most distinctive for its display of Art Deco architecture. Nearby homes and apartment buildings also honor the Art Deco, Spanish Revival, Tudor, French, and American Colonial Styles. Whether your interest lies in art, cars, or fashion, Miracle Mile has something for everyone.
